NILAI LAPORAN KEUANGAN PEMERINTAH DAERAH
Abstract
The aims of this research is examining value relevance of local government’s financial statement. This research investigates value relevance using the effect of local government financial ratio: financial performance ratio, financial position ratio, efficiency ratio and debt ratio on local government financial distress in the next one and two year. The definition of local government financial distress using Peraturan Pemerintah No.54/2005. Local government categorized as distress condition if they do not meet the requirement from PP No.54. The samples of this research is local government financial statement from 2005-2007 from www.bpk.go.id. We collect 232 financial statement/years. This research use binary regression to test the hypothesis. The result shows that ROA, POSGW, CLGW, LQ, CL and LTDA effect the probability of local government financial distress in the next one year, while PERGW, LCO, LTDA and DTR effect the probability of financial distress in the next two year. Based on the results, Indonesian local government have value relevance information.
